Khufiya Plot Summary
Khufiya (translated as Secret) revolves around Krishna Mehra, portrayed by Tabu, an operative at the Indian spy agency known as R&AW. Her mission is to uncover the identity of a mole who is selling India’s defense secrets to the highest bidder.
As she delves deeper into this treacherous world of secrets and betrayals, she must grapple with her dual identity as both a spy and a lover. She is also on a mission to avenge the murder of her lover.
Khufiya is loosely inspired by a real-life incident that unfolded in 2004 when a senior intelligence officer, suspected of espionage for decades, mysteriously disappeared.
